Who Is Christy?

Christy received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She is experienced in working in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation for children and adults recovering from stroke, long-term care, and home modification. However, Christy feels the most fulfilled when helping those with sensory processing issues.  For almost 20 years, Christy has utilized occupational therapy and sensory integration therapy to support people with sensory processing and learning differences.

In addition to Christy’s advanced degree, she is dedicated to sharpening her skills and keeping current on the latest research and strategies.  She continues to expand her repertoire of skills via trainings, seminars, and conferences.  Here is sampling of the additional coursework Christy has attended:
